‘In May of 2022, thirty-six orange padded envelopes were sourced on the corner of Grand and Mott streets In Chinatown, Manhattan. Each envelope was packed with one black dice, one white dice, and a set of instructions which were mailed to thirty-six participants. Twenty-four responses were received, three of which were illegible. Twelve individuals failed to respond.’
